Made my last trip to NYC so much easier !
This app is helpful, like for seeing when I need to leave, if I need to rush to my destination, and it helps me find my best transfer. There are though, WAY TOO MANY ADS. Considering that they are using MTA data for everything, I think they can pay for their services with less ads, and it sometimes makes the app unusable when all I want to do is check my transferring train. While they are okay at updating map data, it is now behind as there is a new map, and it also still lists the Rockaways as closed, despite that area of the A train reopening a week ago.
I’m trying to get the map. Instead, this app keeps serving me offers for paid memberships or putting me into games that I don’t wanna play and can’t get out of.
This app should be free! When lost and you need to quickly need to check you have to wait for the ads to finish! Crazy! Come on NY! Use NYC Subway with the yellow icon instead!
This app is a piece of trash. Not only is the map badly outdated, but the ads take over a minute before you have a chance to X out, and even then the X usually just takes to whatever bottom feeder company is being promoted. Absolute garbage!
Use Moovit
The NYC Subway map is listing local stops with the ‘A’ Train letter indication when these stops are made by only on the ‘C’ Train line, plus other incorrect information.
Only ads, can not use when u need that app
Is so annoying trying to use this app, you can look for anything without been interrupting for advertisement, this app is supposed to be for help looking where I need to go , I’m tired I’m not using this platform anymore
If just one ad, ok. but it never stops. full page popup. unusable. avoid.
If you want to watch ads instead of getting on the subway, use this app.
Ads pop-up when you are opening it up. Every time.
Ads have made this app unusable. This used to be the most reliable way to pull up a map of the MTA, but the app has gotten so aggressive on ads that it has become unusable. It takes about 2-3 minute to get past the multiple layers of ads
Developer contacted me after my previous review, app works again, very happy!
I will only be there for the weekend and this looked like a good fit. I elected the “free with ads” version. If it is free why am I being asked to enter credit card info on my first instance of planning a trip? No. This resulted in an instant deletion of the app.
This is the 2nd they had inaccurate information on train closures that I’ve experienced.
Good if you are in NYC
Used to be good with just banner Ads below the map. Now when you attempt to use it, a whole page takeover ad blocks the map! So annoying and disrupts the need to quickly check the map.
While it’s a nice map and the route planner can be handy if all trains are running, when trains are down or weekends when all trains aren’t running it’s worthless. Used the route planner and looked at the map. Went to subway on several occasions over a weekend and the train it said take was not running. Need more real time info or this is useless.
This app used to be good before the ads became disruptive. Now it is not worth using at all. Apple Maps transit mode is far superior. Do not consider unless you enjoy unbearable ads at the worst possible times.
Awful app. Couldn’t get it to work and accidentally bought something from advertisement thinking it was part of the app too get it to work
Not official. It's filled with ads and delays you when you need Info fast.
During important moments of my travel thee adds would disrupt the map
Over time ads took over. Older reviews are positive, but recent ones tell a different story. After years of using I finally deleted this one and moved on to another free app.
Every time I go to the app, I have to watch another silly ad for a game I have no interest in. This could be life threatening for someone who might be in a dangerous situation and needs this info (good info) to make a split second decision .
Please the inhabilite to keep the internet connection !!!
anoying adds, good app
Your map still says the G is down. It reopened Sept. 3
Great app, super helpful, will automatically show night service at night, only issue is it opens in a zoomed in part of Queens every time you open the app and takes some time to zoom out every time. If this bug was fixed it would be perfect.
Love the app. Love how accurate it is with the arrival time of train. The only thing I wish it had is the bus times. I take the bus to work and I wish this app had the times for bus it would make it perfect.
This app help me in my MTA position on EDV Emergency response!
Too bad about this app! I’ve used it for ten years, but now it silently installs a Safari shopping extension that I had to disable despite “valuing my privacy” 🙄 And, service notices are broken: literally the one value add here. I hope some folks read the recent reviews rather than assume the 100k+ fake ones are legit.
So helpful while in NYC.
Please don’t do this. Interrupted with advertising. Very frustrating.
I hate when the ads, interrupt my searching hust as the train is pulling in to see which train I should take. I also hate that. I don’t have the option to just completely turn off alerts. This is one of the most annoying apps I have ever used.
I got this app when it was a paid app, now they want to charge to use it .
Waste of time
The ads significantly impair the usability of this app. Need to check trains quickly to see if you can catch an express? Ad. The fact that the city requires you to pay to avoid ads is absurd.
All the constant pop-up ads interfering with my search. This makes me look down on my phone longer than I have to making me me a target for petty crime. Grrr !
They want ppl paying while it’s useless on weekends when taking public transportation. Their response to not having the app update changes to subway delays or reroutes - “we don’t have anyone working on weekends” and the weekend is when MTA does most of their track work.

The free version is not worth the annoying and inescapable ads.
That’s all.
Has full screen temporarily unskippable ads pop up when you’re trying to quickly look at a map to decide what subways to hop on.
Ads make this unusable. You can’t skip over.
The ads have gotten control on this app. It’s impossible to use now. Will find another map.
They make you pay for this garbage now lol
This app used to be free and was incredible. The maps are free so the fact that they have a paid version is silly — its a picture if the free flyer. Anyway, I’m recently back in the city and now the free version has ads. Without fail you’ll be in the middle of trying to figure something out as a train arrives and you can’t bypass the “play this game” ad…the app is the worst. You lost me. There are other free apps that offer the same service for free — 1 star.
I don’t want my identity and location sold. I will pay for your app. But this paid off doesn’t work for me and lots of people are waking up.
This app often takes me to ads I cannot close! I have often had to restart my phone to clear the mess. Deleted this garbage.
